Heck yea, especially if they're available after combat. I'm busy when things are shooting and I'm shooting, but after the battle I'd love to see info from that. ESPECIALLY how much FF I'm doing and taking. I'd like to see the post combat screen have Damage like it does now, but also FF Damage to count which teammates burned up an ally. I bet this would help arrest the FF issues in the game, I know I would have been fairly high on that list at least once when I dumped a bunch of cat A-1 SRM alpha strikes on a friendly that traded places with an enemy when collisions were on. It'd be interesting to see, probably of great value to teams that train together too.

I could see "Yeah, you're a good pilot, but you don't get to advance because every round you do more than X damage to friendlies"

These logs should be available for post game analysis. There should be enough information to essentially replay the entire sortie: unit locations, map details, unit stats (detailed armor health, component health, equipment status, etc), all units actions (fire, accelerate, decelerate, jumpjet, use consumable, switch ecm mode, etc). This way a scenario could be replayed and studied: tactics, friendly-fire, accuracy, weapon effectiveness, etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if there isn't a devel compile flag or logging level that provides this information and a developer tool to do sortie replays; otherwise, I'm not sure how PGI game developers would be able to debug game semantics.

If PGI wants to make a competitive game, then they need to take a page from other competitive games and allow players to be competitive. If these logs existed, I’m sure that parsers would already have been created. I know that many serious Guilds/Mechwarriors have been wanting this for a while.

I'd like to have some sort of combat log as well. Whether be it after game or live - they would be invaluable for game analysis and statistics. Especially now that there isn't a public API to request pilot data.
