I'm torn between LBX10 and UAC5 for my scout hunting Dragon.
Right now it's LBX10 w/ 2 tons of ammo or UAC5 with 3 tons of ammo + one more heatsinks (im limited on free slots).

lbx is a bad weapon but uac isnt great for hitting scouts either. can dragons mount streaks? pretty much 2 streaks on anything makes it a scout killer.

I already got a pair of Streak 2s. The problem is that when im zipping around sometimes its hard to aim the UACs

Yeah that's the thing about UAC/5 ... its more of a stand and deliver weapon unless you're aiming at something large. It's not much of a torso twisting weapon.
You can certainly hit scouts with the LBX but unless they're really close (<100m) you will probably just end up doing 1-2 damage to random points, which you can get with a laser sweep for less weight and more effective range.
That's my $0.02
