Two Monitors, Mwo Keeps Minimizing

Hi,

I'm running a dual monitor setup. MWO is set to Fullscreen mode for Crossfire support. However, while playing, the mouse pointer is still active in the background. If it moves to the other monitor and I press any of the mouse buttons, the game minimizes itself, which is very annoying. Is there any way to prevent the game minimizing itself in this situation?

I'm running 64-bit Windows 7 and two HD 5850 in Crossfire and latest 12.10 Catalysts if that makes any difference.

Edit: Saw this in known issues: "Mouse cursor tends to become unfocused from the game window, leads to frustration as the game loses focus when attempting to fire. Usually after alt-tabbing and sometimes on initial game launch"

So I guess there's not much to do :/ Too bad, the game is almost unplayable for me because of this issue.

As long as I don't alt tab starting from when I'm searching for a match until it's done, the mouse stays put in the game. Otherwise you may notice that your cursor will appear in the other screen, for me its when I'm torso twisting one way but tracking with the mouse the other way. If you notice that, bring your cursor back to the game window and center your mech. Otherwise if you fire with your cursor on another monitor it's going to minimize the game.

tl;dr: Happens to me also.

Unfortunately whether I alt-tab or not doesn't make any difference. Tried running with admin privileges and XP compatibility mode, no difference. Except the XP-compatibility mode halved my FPS. I guess I just have to wait for patch.

Are you in window mode?

I'm running dual screen in a 5870.Win 7 64bit

But i run the game on my main 27" fullscreen window mode with a 22" as chat/browser.
No problems for me. Unless maybe you actually dual screen in game itself?

Do what I do, and not move the mouse to the other monitor and then click.
