[Alistair Steiner]

Looking for remnants of the noble Skye Rangers, particularly any from Neveron. Though I was a small player at the time, the conviction of the soldiers has long kept me fighting for the pride of both Skye and the Commonwealth, as the latter took us in after we were hit by a particularly powerful militant faction. New pilots are welcome as well, of course.

Also open to any supporters of the Lyran Commonwealth, as well as the newly formed Federated Commonwealth, to better take the fight to the other Houses.

Normally, I would have a recruitment for "Skye First" supporters, but I believe that we must protect our allies in order to better protect ourselves.

(EDIT: Light roleplay speak encouraged, though not required. Just like to keep in the feel of things.)

Couldn't agree more, my friend. Think my old unit has room for this old lady?

If she can do that, then how'd she die in the first place?

Seriously though. If your character's graduating from Coventry around this time, wouldn't it make sense for her to try and rejoin her Ma's old unit? As for Lina, I'm working on something for the Fanfic Forum that 'll explain what she's up to.

((EDIT: In case you're wondering, Alistair, McKenzie's player is from the same campaign I mentioned above.))

((Hey, no worries. The more the merrier. I should really work on my character's RP within the MechWarrior/BattleTech universe. Started RPing (and still to this day) on a text-based game, though it's technically set in a sort of medieval fantasy world, so not conducive to this sort of RP-generation. Glad to see folks willing to go in to enjoy the fluff as much as the explosions. I'll have to read some more of your stuff for inspiration when I have time.))

Not sure this is the same group/guild you're referringto, but over the past weekend, I have resurrected my old Skye Rangers site: www.skye-rangers.net. I am in the process of uploading/tweaking the site over the next week or so, but it's functional.

Hey hey! No, this isn't the same group per se, but I have to say I'm a fan of your website. Glad to see other Rangers out there! If my little group doesn't gain enough support, I'll probably end up signing up with you guys.
