I think it would be a good idea that if a team starts with fewer players, the win/lose and salvage CBills/XP get jacked up by 1/8. That way there is more incentive to keep playing against the likely hiding an understrength team will face. And if they win, even better!
This could also be extended to early disconnects?

on one hand, yes.
on the other hand: just fix the ******* bugs so teams will have even numbers -> no need to consume time to implement something like this
