Any Living Legends Vets Playing Mwonline?

I have been a huge fan of the Mechwarrior games (both on PC, Tabletop and books) and was extremely excited to hear of Mechwarrior Online. I envisioned a Mechwarrior Living Legends but where you kept your Mech, Aerospace fighter, battle-suit, tank and could level it up. Sadly those hopes have been dashed so far but still optimistic this will eventually be a decent game once they have ironed out the bugs... (and have servers that are playable on! The lagggggggggg)
Are there any other MWLL's vets out there who are also a little 'disappointed' (a little harsh seeing as its still Beta) with what MWOnline is so far? Are there any MWLL's players out there who think its better?
(for those who dont know, heres the old MWL's beta video:)

This was a very old video yet one that seemed to showcase the game best / first vid that came up when I typed it into Youtube hahah - They had it running smoothly last time I played in 2011 - as you would expect with it being out so long.
It is a Mod though rather than a stand alone game. Not as much customization in the mechs, tanks, hovertanks ect. You just pick a loadout and away you go. Or you team up with buddy's and go in as power armor.
Things I really Liked in MWLL's :
Tanks, Aircraft, Mechs, Power armor! - Could get some really interesting tactics in.
Servers : Seemed reliable with decent ping.
Graphics : Its a re-skinned Crysis, Whats not to like.
Balance : They seemed to have a better grasp on the whole balance thing, although I never played it at release so that may be a little unfair.
Maps : HUGE. Oceans, Multiple bases, Islands. it was just good.
Things I like in MW Online
Skill trees?
Its Mechwarrior.
Promises of better things to come.

Also - This was a mod made by MW fans. They had all the unseen mechs in it (warhammer as an example) so chances are they 'borrowed' from all the MW games when creating it? But I dont know for sure.

The problem is the mwll devs set the bar pretty high and its a benchmark the mwo devs havent come close to yet.
Especially in terms of balance etc.
See in mw, you have a substantial percentage of players who will ONLY play variants that are OP.. ITs the nature of humans unfortunately.. Look at gauss cats etc. So, being forced to play on an even playing field is something that isnt attractive to many.
From personal experience, Ive had countless mwll battles that were epic. Mwo, well I dont know if ive had any..
NR wham bam thank you maam doesnt provide much opportunity for epic.

About two years ago, I stopped playing as heavy as I did, for one major reason. The Combined Arms aspect completely outshines the Mechs.
Mechwarrior for me, is about the Mechs. Lore Wise, Battlemechs bring more weaponry and ability to the table than even the best tank.
Yet in MWLL, I routinely see Tanks destroying Assault mechs, because many tanks are low profile and mount dual UAC20 or something of that nature.
Also it seems like despite all the attempts to co-ordinate with a team in MWLL is met with more frustration than here in MWO. I can never seem to get players to focus fire tanks, Mechs walk right past, leaving me as the only one willing to engage them. Only to get absolutely shreaded by the tank due to it's 360 degree turret rotation.
I totally get the "love" for the idea of a combined warfare MW game, and MWLL IS fun, but when your tanks and aerospace and hovercraft are more popular choices than your mechs in a Mechwarrior game. You did something wrong in my opinion.
As for what I play more... frankly MWO, if only because the Mech Combat feels more "Real" to me, it feels slower, it feels like they hit harder, and the damage models on the mechs keep me coming back for more.

Great for a mod and great for what they had to work with, tricking the game into having the mech's legs actually be detected as a player and having the torso, a vehicle, rest of top of them, but the gameplay itself was mediocre
It was complete with Aerospace warping around in the air and disappearing if they flew high enough or far enough away, terrible hit detection(surprise!), fast vehicles beginning to warp(surprise!), VTOL's flying around in circles for 15 minutes until you eventually died, anti-air being an unreliable mess, mech hitboxes all ****** up because they actually used the old horribad designs, IS tech being completely horrible except for the H.Gauss and RAC5, etc etc etc etc the list goes on forever

Except it had aerospace vehicles, tanks, and anti-aircraft weapons. All things not present here.

I was going to post my own piece, but this post here nearly nails my exact feeling's of MWLL.

I actually bought Crysis 2, just for living legends (and another mod), and the ability to see what my computer can do with a Well Coded Cry engine 3 game.
My rig did not disappoint in any capacity.
It did however up my disappointment with this game and it's devs to realize that I went from 45 fps to... at times 18. (45 Sustained even in heavy fighting on Extreme in Crysis 2. While over here my FPS will drop to 18 at times, and only get up to around 40 if nothing is happening)
The devs need to get their act together, not because of LL, or planet side2 but because this game is so badly optimized that it is almost embarrassing.

\lightyears.
Any other opinion is just not factual.
Id rather aim at aero that occasionally warped any day... and i say occasionally, because it wasnt a big deal.
ANy aa tank would throw up enough lead where it wouldnt be an issue.

i don't care if it was copied or not or how much, i care that it WORKS. an altough weapon balancing is FINALLY coming somewhere close to balanced, the netcode is awnfull, the bugs are massive and the content is minimal. customization is also very short of its potential due to the massive cost os items and upgrades, coupled with paultry rewards that benefict AFK farmers and off the charts RR costos with dumb cheap exploits (75% free rearm is nothing short of a kick in the nuts).
ok, it is in BETA so its to expected, but the ammount of time its taking to fix game breaking problems wich the community's been pointing out for months already really isn't adding confidence to anyone.
but all that could be vastly overshadowd if not for the fact that maps are minuscule. doubt there is more than 2000m betwen the opposites of the maps. if maps where bigger (3 times at least) matches would be more balanced and the glaring issues wouldn't be soo much in your face. plus matches wouldn't boil down to premades setting ambushes or advancing through the SAME spots every match.

Hate to say this, But MWLL is a Crysis Wars mod
(Crysis Wars is the multiplayer game that comes bundled with Crysis Warhead)
