Hello.
Hope this will not upset a lot of people. But as it stands now it's difficult to play your 'dream mech' or in other words your owned ones.
You grind with trials and buy your mech.
Then you grind to get the equipment you wanted.
Thats all fine but when you start playing with it you come to a conclusion there isn't really any point in doing it outside of xp'ing it.
If you play really well and fierce you'll go fighting flaming and defiant. Your arms ripped off, armor gone and equipment lost. But hey thats the game you think. You can't win em all and you loose or win.
Then you see the repair bill and your jaw dropps. 10k income of a lost match and 30k from winning.
Has this happened to you?
It even gets better. If you die like a panzee or just unlucky block and have been cored a gauss slug you're in luck! You didn't play much, but at least your repair bill won't be bigger than 20k.
So to have money you need to play poorly or grind with trials when you are guaranted 50-80k a match.
I'm not a founder but I do wan't to put money in this game. I was thinking vanity items, eventualy hero mechs, extra mechbay space.
I'm not going to pay for cbills just to play.
I'd say give 200k for winning and 120k for loosing or rework this mechanic because I think it is broken and it makes me not want to play.
Am I whining or does somebody agrees with me?
Cheers, Pozdrowko

If you're really stuck for Cbills, then you can always try playing with the trial mechs. You make less money, but you also don't have to pay repairs.
Also, it depends on how you play. If you have a mostly lasers setup, and play as a team (so you get one or two kills), then not only may your repairs be less, but you'll get extra money for winning - I average about 130k for a win lately. Increasing the Cbill for a win would make it too easy for people to sign up and buy everything they wanted in an hour - which negates that feeling of 'reward' for finally being able to afford your mech!

Thats my problem. I already own a mech I don't want be force to grind with trials.
Also with my Cathapract 1X i always kill somebody and get a bunch of assist but afterwards I get a ridiculous repair bill from 75-80k without being cored.
I starting to suspect the 1X is maybe bugged.

There's something like 53 different variants to play with, why not run around in any one of those? I'm still pulling in good profits with a dragon equipped with an xl engine. Plan your builds to make them balanced enough to be profitable as well - no mercenary is going to enter a job repeatedly with gear that costs more to repair than he is getting paid for.

I agree you need to play with different builds. But my point still is that I don't get destroyed in battle. I don't use high end tech in my mech and still I get 7-80k repair bills.
Or is 5x medlaser, Standard Armor, SHS and AC10 Star League lost tech?
sycocys - the problem being Im required to grind with trials to get my hands on any other mech and still I need to waste time with trials to get better gear for them only then I can xp it up without earning anything so that I can unlock Basics, Have no C-Bills at which point I have to come back to the grind wheel.
Ok, ok its I just needed to get it out of my system. There won't be any changes probably but hell you need to whine its the only way anybody notices you.
