This streak cats are pretty ********, they slap as many streak missiles on as they can and chain them so that when they engage you they send a constant stream of missiles that make your screen constantly shake so that it is impossible to even fight back.
It feels like the AMS system on my mech never bothers to shoot at these streak missiles, it just gives them a free pass which I think should change.
If anything, the screen shake induced by being hit by 2 dinky missiles should be vastly reduced so that it at least gives people a chance to fight back against these cheap players.

All weapons need a pass to adjust to appropriate screen shake, not just SSRM

You do realize that the knock is totally cosmetic right? Your aiming reticule never wavers from where its pointed, UNLIKE Mechwarrior 3 where you could be totally locked up by ACs/Gauss/LRMS volleys.

know what happens when someone shoots me with an AC/2 or streaks? I shoot back. The bigger concern is the oil across the cockpit, which is only caused by missiles as far as i can tell...now THAT needs to be looked at.

I find it difficult to see the reticule when my screen is bouncing back and forth with explosions constantly rocking me. If there was some way I could just turn off screen shake that would be awsome, if I can't then it needs to be reduced (expecially if it is only cosmetic as you say).

Not just screen shake, but streaks cause silly smoke and blur/darkening of your entire screen as well. It's ridiculous what tiny SSRM-2 and AC-2 do to you when getting hit with bigger weapons hardly phase your cockpit.

LOL? I can vote Yes and No? (Not that I actually did that :) )

I know knock is cosmetic (crosshairs don't actually move), but still, it's rather disorientating in my opinion. Making amount of screen shake depend on weapon caliber would be great.

A few SSRMs...HOLY it's the apocalypse...

Dual LRM20s...relatively insignificant shake...-.-

The haze is my biggest issue, mostly because it also darkens the screen with streaks not so much the shaking which I can shoot through easily enough.

I think they'll do something, and since damage isn't getting nerfed with this solution there no logical defense not to do it. Like what was pointed out above, getting hit with bigger weapons produces less screen shake than 2 streak missiles, and it shouldn't be this way.

I'd also like to know the reason why people vote no, if I'm missing something that it obvious as to why this shouldn't be implemented I'd like to hear it.

the only thing i could come up with to be able to see through all the screen shake and smoke the damn LRMs make... is turning on heat vision so i can see the mech im fighting while taking hits from LRMs
