The SPIDER

Greyvanth "SPIDER" Bogdanovich was born on Tortuga Prime in the Tortuga Dominion to descendents of the ancient Canadian/Romani family of Bogdanovich.

He was sired in the cockpit of a Hollis Industry Battlemaster BLR-3M, suckled on Prestar coolant from the tip of a Diverse Optics Sunbeam ER Large Laser, played with a memorial edition Bergan Industries LCT-1E Locust toy painted in the colors of the Periphery Star Guard on the Technicron Type G chassis floor of his Father's AWS-9M AWESOME "NULL SHOT". He learned to climb on the barrel of the same mech's Fusigon Longtooth ER PPCs, warmed himself near the plate shielding of a Hermes XL Fusion engine and smoked his first (and last) wanji weed stick after watching his father's burned body taken from the shattered cockpit of the "NULL SHOT".

He kissed his first girl, Kizzy Violca, behind the smoking wreck of a Capellan Federation GM Marauder while cooking munchmallows over the still warm Swingline X-100 jumpjets. He got dumped by the same girl while stringing myomer bundles into the calf cavity of a Vandenberg Metal Works Commando.

SPIDER got his first personal mech at 21, from "Lady Death" Trevallin herself, for some undisclosed favor performed by his brother.

His mech, the "Gypsy Girl", was a mish-mash thrown together "Frankenmech" built on a WVR-6K Wolverine chassis, an avionics package from an old PXH-1K Pheonix Hawk, a rusty Pontiac Light AC 5, a salvaged Ayukawa "Slapper" SRM-6 (that only fired 2 missles at a time), and a single Magna Mk II Medium Laser which more often than not misfired. He loved it.

His first-blood mech duel was against a mineral pirate named "Simba Pitchvane". Simba drove a dusty SHD-1R Shadowhawk that had seen better days. SPIDER won the fight and took the destroyed Shadowhawk as prize. The C-Bills earned from this fight allowed him the buy his way onto an inbound freighter and away from the backworld life of the Periphery States.

5 years later he formed his first merc corp: The Pothole Pirates

The Pothole Pirates been have been jumping from one planet to another; taking on jobs from any nation or company that will pay them ... searching for their fortune in the Inner Sphere wars.

As far as lifelong plans go, SPIDER has a close-guarded secret he simply calls "The Eden Endeavor". He is very tight-lipped about the subject.
