Its the massive knocking effect on the hud when chain fired that is so crazy its nearly impossible to fight back. It basically stun locks you if your an assault mech or just not fast enough to run away.

WEll that is because all them guys got on the forums and started crying to get the shake back in the cockpit, so they can chain fire the streaks. I use the streaks myself, but i don't chain fire them like i see 75% of these guys doing, just so you can't see, and you get you cockpit shaking thru the whole fight.Ya i know they will say deal with it and find a tactic that works, and I do, its just a shame that when they take out something in the game that gives them a big edge, the crying goes into full force.

Intentionally hobbling yourself doesn't mean the weapon needs work. The weapons that should be delivering big knock are the bigger ballistics- instead, we see people rattling to death from SRM 2's and AC/2's.

Streaks wouldn't be that bad if when I face my enemy, my screen wouldn't go pitch black when they chain fire. The flash from the explosions is way more effective than it should be. That is my issue with them.

There is a section of the forums specifically meant to discuss patch-by-patch feedback; it's the Patch Support and Feedback Section. It's best to put patch-specific discussions there, like how the Streaks do this now instead of what they used to do, because these kinds of discussions are always dependent on the particular state of the game. There are many Streak discussions being generated on a regular basis, but concentrating our game-tuning discussions in the feedback section is the best way to help the developers get the information/feedback/criticisms they need from us.

Its just too much utility for a weapon that has consistent damage and is super easy to connect with.
