Dear PGI first thx for making a game that is mostly fun to play even in this beta stage. It isnt really said enough on this Forum!

And now ill repost something i wrote in the Patch Feedback Section.

We need better tools to test and we need more information.

Just as an example the last patchnotes fail to mention that you did change details on some maps. (the tunnel in the ice map is the first i can think of with added buildings in it)
We get the info that sensor range is increased by 25% when you equip the beagle probe. Which is a nice info, if anyone would know what the standard sensor range is. I tried it on my raven and i cant really tell if there even is a difference.

And it has been like this with every patch! One of the first topics to spring up in a new Feedback thread is to find the hidden changes that werent mentioned in the patchnotes.

So please give us more information and information that we can work with.

The second thing i want to mention are tools.
I guess it has been said quiet often but i wanna do it again. We need "training" rooms to test specific Loadouts and recreate bugs. We cant really test stuff in normal games cause the enemy and my own team want to win and not to test if those lrm15 do the same dmg as those lrm20 while the jenner moves at about 100kph. They dont want to stand still so we can test if the sensor range is improved by modules or beagle probe.

Give us the tools so we can give you qualified feedback and can recreate bugs without making 7 other people angry at us cause we wanted to test something.

There shouldnt be any rewards gained or costs by these "training" rooms. They are just to test and to give a guiding hand to new players.

The third thing are those "Merged" Threads in the Feedback Section.

I know you want to keep the Forum clean and easy to read but those Threads are not readable . If you read one page, 3-4 issues are criss crossing through out the page and make the whole thing garbled and unreadable. The merged threads dont serve any purpose other then to archive some post which you cant easily find.
My suggestion would be to make a subforum to the feedback forum where you put all threads you want to merge or archive. this way interested people can still read the information in those posts and they are out of the way in the feedback forum.

Well now what my post boils down to:
  • I suggest the early creation of a "training room" so we can test and recreate bugs more easily and to guide the new players
  • I suggest complete patch notes with information that we can really use and more information in the game
  • I suggest to make a merged feedback subforum so we can still read those merged threads
Thx for your time and effort!
