When it happens, you can sometimes alt-tab back to a browser window and back to game... which un-does the freeze. I think it's a sound issue.

"sys_MaxFPS = 60"
Now go into the user folder and you will see "shaders", delete that folder. This should severely reduce crashing. Every time you crash again, go delete the shaders folder.

It's something that was definitely introduced on the Feb. 5th patch. Hopefully they'll fix it soon.

- I wait 10 seconds or so, and it unfreezes
- I Ctrl-Alt-Del out to start taskmanager, but then Alt-Tab back into the game, and it unfreezes
- I Ctrl-Alt-Del out of the game and see the game proccess unresponsive and have to shut it down
- I Ctrl-Alt-Del out of the game and it crashes with a error massage
- It crashes to desktop within a second without any error message

Where did you get this from.
It helped allot and there is a good performance increase, in my case.

If they dont fix then the game is unfit for propose. Why didnt they fix it on the last patch? Why are they still using Direct9 and not 11?
i am getting very frustrated ay letting my unknown team mates down as when they need my firepower or support i get screen freeze. This is crap and needs to be fixed.
There is a known issue why is there no Topic from the DEVs about it?

I'm no tech guru but i tried setting up an application profile for the MWO Client in catylist control center.
I have an AMD R7850 Black Edition.
I have no idea what it did but i just kept the default settings and haven't had a freeze since.

I suggest all game stability feedback should be posted there.
