So I was on Frozen City, chasing a Cicada in my K2, and I saw a mech pop out of cover just as my son came in the door with my spouse, so knowing that I needed to finish off the match I started shooting. Got several rounds of gauss fire into his rear armour before I realized my mistake

The mech was not a Cicada. It was a 'Phract.

And it was on my team.

He rightfully turned on me and returned fire. I swiftly apologized but it wasn't a good one. Frankly, if I'd been him, I would have kept firing until I was practically slag, but I guess the pilot was a nice guy. He stopped shooting and accepted my apology, it seems, even though I pretty severely damaged his rear armour.

Well if you read this, mystery 'phract pilot whose name I didn't get to take down, you have my full and sincere apology. I got distracted, and while the damage was temporary, I'm sure it cost you a few C-Bills, and the embarrassment of thinking you were on a team with a complete nub.

Well I'm not a complete nub, and I am sorry, and now everybody knows it.

Of course, you still fared better than the Jenner on my team I accidentally cored from behind when I first got my K2 and overzealously stroked a loving finger over the trigger at just the wrong moment as we were winging away from the base on Caustic. To you my apologies as well.

I feel better.

Of course, anyone else wanting to use this thread to apologize for bad behaviour, intentional or unintentional, or publically air an apology to someone you wronged, feel free.
