Ssrm Concept?

Question mark because I question the reception, but still consider it a good idea.

Simply put: SSRMs are meant to auto-hit, right? Make it so they do. Each missile picks a random location and flies right to it without fail, dodging obstacles like little runaway trains...

... but only if you manage to get a lock on them. And this lock goes away faster than LRM lock does. Meaning you have to maintain a firing solution until they're launched.

Possibly make them fire-and-forget unlike LRMs; needing a constant lock. With the caveat that they must have Line of sight to lock.

Such things could make the SSRM feel powerful, but not psychotic. And with coding being the way it is, plus the Golds, plus the typical response from the Devs when it comes to we peasants in the past, I doubt this thread will mean anything.
But I think this would make a cool weapon.

SSRM's are already a problem. SSRMCats are way over powered. making them set and forget would make this worse.
