what is this 1999? the trees should be falling left and right and some of our cover should explode.
and we should feel like Godzilla in the cities.

I agree. You can actually walk on top of a truck in river city and not crush it. A concrete wall can block your mech. What's up with that.

It's not implemented yet.

We will be able to crush at least trees, small fences and traffic signs.

When i can see my hud after i overheat and turn back on, or can see anything other than yellow when the match starts or i don't get randomly booted or i can by a mech without having to log out..... and then after they get collison damage in... it would be a great idea.

me too.
I remember the footprints every mech made in concrete roads, in MW3. Sometimes you could even guess where the enemy was, by them. Also nearly every building was destroyable.
I want that back!

Or is this an engine limitation? Currently, the engine most known for environmental destruction is EA's Frostbite... does cryengine has the same capability?

this is totally low priority imho.
Frostbite is indeed king in destructable environments.
CryEngine has also the ability, but is more performance heavy, and in an online environment the netcode will also be called heavy upon to sync the destructions. My guess is that only the minor non importants parts can be destroyed in the future, trees/signs etc.

If they can do it in WoT, which is using an obscure engine, they can certainly do it on the CryEngine. I'd rather have no trees at all then indestructible trees, same applies to buildings.
