After four matches in that configuration we never touched it again cause we felt dirty, and that was pre-fix.

I also would never touch that whole Gaussapult-AC/20pult-Streakapult-110kp/h-Swayback-MPLAwesome-stuff. It feels like cheating. Some of them don't work anymore but there will always be something like that and I refuse to play that stuff.

On a related note I am really looking forward to Phase 2 where we'll see 8 Jenner teams, all nearly unhittable. It'll be good times.

What do we do when they nerf ssrms and then we have to deal with the next "flavor of the month" mech?

Every other possible mech build out there will require AIMING to use. And more importantly I will have some possibility of actually using maneuver skill to dodge their shots. Right now it's like an FPS where a bunch of people are carrying around assault rifles with lock on homing bullets and they all have the "fast move" and "super jump" perk skill equipped. The game is complete B.S. at the moment.

They aren't.

Not only are they not, but their focus is wrong. A1's aren't the problem, they just happen to be the most obvious symptom of it.

SSRMs need to be removed. Even in smaller numbers they are stupid. It is absurd that in any light-on-light fight, whomever has the most streaks wins, regardless of other weapons.

Btw,... when was the last time you ever saw anyone use SRM2's? I am pretty sure I never have, and I've been playing for 4+ months.

What I do not get is WHY WHY people keep getting under 270 m of SSRM cats!!!

I do not own a cat, but when I end up close range to one I think, I AM STUPID!!!

I just keep as a high priority for me to stay away of those things!!

Its same thing in BT table top! If your light mech try to pass at 3 hex of an assault with 4 LBX 10 and tracking computer.. its his fault for doing so!!!

What can be done? If people want to fight in the best possible scenario for enemy they WILL DIE!

Are you suggesting that the streak cat cannot .... move? Cannot... sneak up on you? Quite often you do not know what is a streak boat until they are on you.

lol, my favorite posts. Obviously if someone takes a streak cat across the water in forest they will die before they get close enough to kill me. In any other situation there is almost nothing you can do to keep them at distance. Only an ***** cant get their cat withing 270m. A serious *****.

As for the OP, very funny I liked that. I'm not sure if you're one of the million streak cats that i have faced in the past week or so but if you are I take back at least one of the not nice things i said.

And yes...if after tonights patch no change in what so ever direction is taken...guess what I will put on my cat. Why complain? Join them! ;)

Made that move some patches ago, and my reaction was. WTF???
It's pretty easy to score kills with this thing.
I wonder what will happen if we throw clan's SSRM6 into the mix.

I say the Devs need to just release the Clan. To hell with the 1-1 day time line thing. Let the new gripe be how OP clan omnimechs are. I could put 12 ssrm-2s as long as the chassis has the space and weight available. Everyone will be up for clan tech.. longer range, lighter, less heat for all weapons.

With that said, good video, good post. Makes me want to build my first Streakcat, I don't know why I haven't yet.

Well done. I loved the "Working as intended" with the closeup of the paperdoll when unloading 3 MLs point blank into a stationary mech did ... nothing. That pretty much sums up my "MWO experience" at the moment.

I wonder when we'll have a game where the weapons other than SSRMs actually ... do damage.
