I've been playing Mechwarrior since MW2 and was a member of the Wolf's Dragoons in MW2:Mercs back in the days of using Kali.net for online gaming on my 14.4k modem. I would love to get back in with my old unit. I remember running exercises with the group using specific builds to help learn how to use the different weapon types effectively. That brings back memories.

well the black widows company is a part of the wolfs dragoons. they have a standard military structure. but, they are a specialized unit thought through the wolf's dragoons merc company. I'm old school MW I used to play the board game version back in the day. I still have most of the books. If I remember correctly I actually have some game books specific on the wolf's dragoons.

Hi guys!
Having the same problem as above.

Looking forward to playing MechWarrior with you all! I'm formerly a member/command member of the Wolf's Dragoons from, arguably, the first BattleTech MMO that was ever played, back in the early to late 1990s called 'BTech 3056 MUSE'. The Wolf's Dragoons was a challenging unit to get in to but was one I wanted to join from day one. We held Trials of Position as the initiation trial to become commissioned in to the WDs, which pitted a Timberwolf (the initiate) against an Archer, Thunderbolt, and ...and... argh! Now it's been so long I can't remember the third one! All -WD variants though for the period. The number of kills for the initiate indicated the potential rank outcome of the initiate afterwards. I was lucky and got three kills! I think pounding back chocolate bars and Jolt cola (perhap the first energy drink) really gave me an edge though! I eventually became a Major in the WDs, and played the title CO characters of Alpha Regiments Kelly_Yukinov, as well Gamma Regiments Irwin_Tyrell.

An avid fan of the BattleTech table-top game universe, and in particular the Wolf's Dragoons, I look forward to joining this prestigeous unit and fighting alongside such professionals again.
