Let me make sure I understand this...

I am in a mech, currently a hunchback, which weighs 50 tons... 100,000 pounds... which is stabilized by a gyro and I am suspended in a pilot capsule...

And my cockpit is shook by missiles and auto cannon rounds...

But I can run at 90KPH and not get knocked over when i run into a stationary or heavier object?

Welcome to The Inner Sphere. The future is... illlogical.

ahem, referencing this:

It's kinda dirty how they showcase both the streak cat and the gauss cat prominently in that trail. :(

Just press your "I believe button' and life will be easier.
Knockdown will be added back in sooner or later when they get them fixed.
They are still balancing the shake from various weapons: too much shake from AC2 and Streaks.

Shake is a thing that many of the games have had and are a way to balance the weapons in a FPS manner.
