Personally, I find it very displeasing. Nothing feels worse than having shaken baby syndrome from some weak weapon hitting you twice a second. It's not "fun" in any way. It's just frustrating. There needs to be some kind of counter play to these light and annoying weapons. (see here for explanation of Counter Play: http://penny-arcade....de/counter-play)

Personally, I feel that cockpit shake should be directly related to damage received within a period of time. Disclaimer: these numbers are just examples, but if your mech receives 15+ damage within 1 second, it should have a cockpit shake value of 1. If you receive 30+ damage in that same 1 second window, have a more significant shake. Continue on as needed.

AC2's could cause a screen shake, if multiple rounds impacted at the same time. However, if they are impacting at a steady rate (1 or 2 per second), this should not cause much disorientation, if any at all. I mean, by all logic, if AC2's cause so much screen shake, so should the Machine Guns and Small Lasers. These weapons do the same damage (or more) as the AC2, so why aren't they making my screen shake like crazy?

To those of you who like the screen shake; How and why? I'm not interested in hearing from the person USING the AC2, as it's obvious why you would love it, but as someone on the receiving end of these weapons, why do you feel they are working great as they are?
