Cycle the ultras and the med lazers. The ultras wont jam ever and the lazers won't over heat you for a long time.


My personal favorite is the 3D. I have had it for 2 days and so far 6 cockpit kills.

It's not a guide, if you post three builds without commenting them at all.

You use ferro fibrous armor in two bulds but not endo steel, which gives you better returns weight/crit-wise - you get two more free tons with endosteel in comparison to FF. You also use XL engines in all three, in a chassis which has really large and scarcely armored side torsos.

Lastly, i don't understand your 2X build at all. Shotgun, LPL and two ASRM6? LL > LPL, AC/10 > LBX/10. If tou want spread, use LBX and SRM, if you want pinpoint damage, use AC/10 and ASRM.

A perfect example of why Ferro Fibrous Armor is a noob trap. Consider the Ilya build with ONLY swapping Endo for FF....



Notice I actually have 6 points MORE armor than the FF build. It also gives 2 extra tons to work with. The build shown uses 10 tons of ammo instead of the 8 in the FF build. Alternatively, you can go with 9 tons of ammo, and an extra DHS in the engine if you favor more ML usage (heat is never a problem just spammin UACs)

tl;dr : NEVER USE FERRO FIBROUS FIBER ARMOR unless you already have Endo equipped.

4 of those points go to the legs and only 2 to the CT. However the loss of the 5 bonus armor to the ct rt and lt for more ammo and heat is admittedly better.

So since my builds are megh lets here from you guys. Post your Catabuilds to help fix my fail.
