I had no sound issues before this patch. Now, post-Betty.. specifically on jump jet sound (from my own mech or someone near me), the various sounds of battle get intermittent and choppy.

That's a pretty new bug for me, never experienced this before last patch.
Same here. It really seems like lag is affecting sound. The sound is choppy, Betty is often cut off in mid message if the message comes through at all.

Same here. I haven't heard any crackling/clipping yet this patch but it feels like BB and the rest of the sounds are vying for the speakers.

HAd no sound problems until the betty patch. it feels like not all the sounds can play when betty talks.

This problem is figuratively eons old, and I doubt it's PGI's fault, but they do need to find a way to clean up the audio processing of this engine.

Is there a way to turn her off - disable her completely - ie. by user config? i want to see if this restores the sound to the previous patch where there is no stuttering of sounds.

I agree - her voice pacing is a bit on the slow side - I would be curious to compare the pace in MWO versus MW2. It's a difficult job because her voice is iconic and I "grew up" on MW2.

Very annoying because I already adapted to rely on the BB announcements (I feel finally at home with Betty sharing my cockpit).
Missing something and getting a warning seconds after something critical happenend can be rather confusing ...

It was so bad i rebooted my machine thinking i must be pc issue, but no ... its just this game , what ever *cough* 'quality' improvements your devs thought they were making has pretty much ruinned this game for me.
And just to be clear , im running a brand new 4.2ghz i5, 16gm ram, SSD'd games machine on win7, i dont know what you guys test this **** on before you let it through thr door but your QA sucks.

Yes, voice clipping, stuttering etc as different sound step on each other. I turned betty way down so shes basically background noise now.
