Some issues here too with audio. Betty especially cuts mid-sentence, other sounds like foot steps, jump jets and firing weapons occasionally missing with some popping sounds.

I probably should have mentioned that I use an ASUS XONAR DX. Which is an AV100 audio processor. Which is a tuned CMedia Oxygen HD audio processor.

The audio-cutting out problem was noticeable last patch in the form of there being no sound at all when I fired 6 missile racks simultaneously, but otherwise this latest patch made it noticeable all the time.

As I posted earlier I am having severe issues with audio cutting out, getting garbled and muddy. BB also cuts out mid sentence sometimes.

I have a Creative Recon 3D Sound card running Sennheiser PC-350 headset.

Happening a lot, getting partial messages or messages getting cut off by others. voice is a good addition but a bit buggy.

Also can she talk a bit faster, there is no urgency there and often the messages take longer than the event does "incoming missile" sometimes hasn't finished being said before the LRM hits.

I have the same problem, which was intermittent before the betty patch and is now affecting gameplay with rasps and buzzes intermittently.

I have a GA-Z77X-UD5H motherboard and am using the onboard Realtek chip with windows 8 Pro 64-bit 2.70 drivers.

Our Sound Engineer, Sean Kolton, believes the audio bug was caused by slow mp3 decompression within the engine when we switched to mp3s. We fixed it on our end with something better. I don't have a patch date for you but It would be live before the 18th or as soon as next patch.

SS 7.1 is still buggy so switch to 5.1 for now.

Oh! I've been wanting to know who is responsible for the MWO sounds since I heard the first "blip" in one of the early gameplay teasers. Please tell him big kudos! MWO's sound effects are awesome.

sorry for the ignorant post, but how do I switch to channel 5.1?
