What is the official stance and strategy for coping with the growing amount of suicide farmers, AFKers, and TKers. It is becoming more and more common place to join a game and end up losing atleast 2 people before the game even starts. Nothing like starting a 6v8 match and watching your teammates give up before your mech is even live. This honestly seems like a trivial matter from a balancing perspective.
*Introduce harsh penalties for suicides within the first few minutes of gameplay.
*Do stat checks at the end of a match and if the mech hasn't moved / fired a single shot then don't award ANY Cbills or experience.
*Severely punish Tkers. The current penalty is laughable. Repeat Tks within a given period should result in temporary account bans.
*If you take away the ability to profitably grind in these manners then it will drastically curve the behavior.
Now as far as disconnects are concerned I know this is an ongoing battle with various causes and root issues. What is the official stance on resolving this and is there anything the community can do to help combat this?
I enjoy mech customization as much as the next MechWarrior fan but I am sure I voice the opinion of the entire community when I say that game play issues like these need to be addressed before the flair and fluff.
