This game is likely going to need a bit more then 10,000 people to be successful. Just sayin'.

I basically wanted to say that every gamer who had a decent PC in 1995 knows this franchise.
Heck, even IGN had a clue about it in the past.

Okay, for those that actually believed that this game would be ported to Xbox360, think about again about the fact that the game is F2P (or Free to Play for those not in the know) on the computer. So who would be dumb enough to pay for a free game lol!

To be fair, League of Legends had boxed copies that you could buy of the game. It unlocked like 20 champions and gave you a decent amount of starting Riot points (their real money currency) and also an exclusive skin.

But yeah, I don't think this is going to come out for xbox. Hell, the whole reason why MWO became a free to play game was that when they made a concept trailer for it all that while ago they couldn't drum up enough interest to make an Xbox MechWarrior game.

Edit: I was just joking as to your terseness and rigidity in your response, but I notice you are from Hungary and maybe English isn't your first language, in that case take no offense at my joking.

No offense taken.

Well I'm not that all surprise if Sep is the release date, I do hope its cross platform love to see how they can match up with us and for taking Halo away.

I really dont trust the release date, a few days ago it said the release date was going to be June 30th 2012. Also it would be horrible if it was on Xbox 360. One thing I noticed in the mechlab video though was mech slots, I think there were about four of them, I was wondering if you would have to buy more slots for your mechs with real money like you have to in Wot.

Probably. They have to make money somehow and depending on how they price it, I'd probably eventually buy a couple more slots.

wouldn't mind this being the case, it would give everyone the option to maintain a mech of every wieight class and those who want to toss some cash into the game get to keep more, while it would be an advantage it wouldn't be a game breaker.

In the other thread about the IGN article, I pointed out this very same thing (about the "Also avaliable on Xbox") and Russ replied to me directly saying it was not true and was just IGN getting a little overzealous with their writing.

I think, as far as IGN goes, they just copied what info they had from the old MW5 info and pasted it in.

Though, I won't lie, it would be somewhat interesting to see a cross-platform F2P game... though XCrate owners would have to burn a good chunk of HD space to download and play it.

Well, I guess the consensus is it's just wild IGN speculation, rather than a slip of the goal release date.

So ruling out IGN, I guess that leaves us with wild speculation.
