I Feel Like The Jenner 7K Should Get Ecm Instead Of The Jenner 7D

But Jenners should get the BAP option. (... which IMO should be limited as well.)

The Jenner is such a good light mech, it really doesn't need the ECM -- they should give ECM to one commando variant, and then all the Ravens, because the Ravens really need some help.
But even if they do give Jenners an ECM, why the D? Why not the K?
That really makes no sense.

- The 7K supposedly the most advanced model of the Jenners
- The 7K is a Jenner Model that is used specifically by Scout PIlots who are specializing in the Jenner Line, partly because of...
- The 7D is already in extremely high circulation due to the Founders Program, which means everybody and their brother will be running ECM on these common Mechs.
This is just my personal opinion.
I agree.

This means -K pilots have to make a choice. Mount the CT missile system or mount BAP/ECM, since if they choose ECM it'll take up two critical spaces in the CT and leave no room for a missile launcher. Meanwhile, Raven pilots won't have to trade between weapon system or ECM pod, leaving them well-off in the electronics department.
Leave it off the -D, which is already the most popular light in the game, and the -F, which already has it's spot as an incredibly good energy boat- as both are 3025-era designs that wouldn't have dedicated EW space for this sorta thing built into them from the start.

Does the ECM field give you cancer? Otherwise I can't see how an item that can't kill anyone would dominate the game. Surely you have other mechs than streak kitty and lrm boat?
I typically run a PPC-laden, Slow Medium.
The 3-PPC Hunchback-4P... or 4PPCs, depending on how cheeky I'm feeling at the time.
Edit - I actually have the builds posted over at Mech Specs

It has 3 built in module slots, rather than the normal 2.
Folks just don't notice this, because the current modules are all pretty much terrible wastes of money.

It'll be my go-to Jenner when the going gets going.
But you'll probably see me in one of the 'whatever chassis I'm learning' chassis I'm in of the moment. Right now it's the (f)Atlas.
I've finished Jenners, Catapults, Hunchbacks, Commandos, Centurions... I'm not liking Atlas.

ECM can be mounted on the 3-Missile Commando, the 1-Ballistic Cicada, and the Raven-3L, as well as the Atlas D-DC.
Thank god Jenner didn't get ECM... it was struck down by the community. I don't know why they even thought about giving it to that...thing.
