I just finished a battle on Frozen City where I mistakenly fired on a friendly unit. I was following a group of slow teammates at a speed of 60 km/h when everybody slowed and took up defensive positions at the ridge. When I took my position and started to zoom in, I saw a Jenner in the distance without the blue or red icon so I assumed that it was an enemy mech under ECM and started firing. After 2 salvos of 3 large lasers, the blue icon appeared over the mech and so I promptly stopped shooting. That's when I realized the mech wasn't moving before so it must have been powered down and hence did not have the red or blue icon.

To the Jenner pilot I fired on, I apologize.

That's nothing.
I've cored the left eye of a friendly Fatlas once, never did get a TK warning because it start up / shutdown over and over again,

So it was a painfully long misfire with triple ac2 blazing.

It's a pain you can't type when you powered down I give you that. It was only after he died that I got properly chewed off.
