Damaged By Ammo Explosion? I Had No Ammo!

I got killed and in the list of what damaged me was ammo explosion, I was piloting a HBK-4P with 9 lasers. How come?

Maybe someone shot some missiles (ammo) into you, and then they exploded, causing you to die?

On a serious note, the only thing I can think of is to ask if you were running AMS. Otherwise it was probably just a borked damage report.
