Do it up people; show your fave Mech (and let us know if you're expecting an upcoming announced Mech to replace that)

For me, it's the Cataphract. The perfect blend of armor, firepower and speed. I've been very happy with the variant I've spec'd out. It isn't the most powerful alpha strike, but played well, it's very versatile.

Currently my favorite is the Splatapult (AC20 cat to the rest of you). It is downright hilarious to drive. I will likely give the JagerMech a shot, if only because the arm mounted AC20s will mean I can use an XL engine to move a bit faster.

But I'm looking forward to the Stalker, too, and the Cataphract is lots of fun.

Centurion AL is my fave.

Dragon 1N is close second.

K2 Cat with 2 LL and 1 AC20.

Catapults just feel durable and powerful without being slow like a fatlass.

the missile variants can go to hell however. Getting kills when you aren't even aiming is insulting to the players you are killing. :D

Tough choice, I tend to rotate mechs frequently (except this week while I level up Cataphracts). I play a lot of Hunchback, Centurion, Catapult, and Cataphract. But I think I would have to go with the Catapult. Maybe when the new Hero mech is released, I'll change my mind.

Atlas.
I wish there was a way to get more energy slots on it.

Pieces of the afore mentioned after it blows up?

I'll have to go with my founders Jenner right now but my D-DC is a close second.

Really tough choice. I love the catapult, hunch, and atlas. I had to choose atlas though because it's the most versatile and it's what I use the most.

Atlas can be a missile boat, laser boat, use ballistics. Only thing bad about it is that it's slow and very easy prey to light mechs.

I agree that it is hilarious. I have literally laughed out loud while playing that build.

But it feels like a gimmick build to me.

Fun to play every now and then but too many weaknesses for "main mech" play.

imo of course.

Still love my Founders C1 Cat, or my make-shift MAD CAT.

2 PPCs
2 LRM 10's (lacking the tonnage for 15s)
2 Med lasers
1 Jump Jet (MK's dont have them, but it helps when lights find you)

69.8 KPH (75 with elite tree)

advanced zoom
sensor range

It's amazing to run.

I love the catapult founder and normal c1. My founder has almost max armor, 2 med lasers and a srm6. My other c1 I named Rambo, added the pc gamer skin rocks one lrm 20, lrm 10, and a med laser. Both have jump jets x1. For the time being I'm focusing on being fire support since it fits my play style and I lack the hardware to try and play as a brawler,

I predict the catapult will win.

missile boaters love it and so do ballistic junkies.
