Would be nice to have a well done soundtrack. Mechwarrior 2 had the best one...well MW2: Mercs was kewl...but totally different type of music more or less.

Paul is a GREAT composer, hes made wonderful clips thusfar, and I trust if Paul does the OST we will see great things. I really do hate to say this, but hard rock and heavy guitar riffs, just doesnt sit right with the sound of a battlemech doin its thing. but, thats just MY opinion so take it for that.

I just took mechcommander 2 in my hands to kill time and that game have best soundtracks i think something like that would fit to a game like mwo.

I would LOVE to see the reappearance of some if not ALL MechWarrior 2's sound track. Found my game disc just to listen to its music

People been begging for Jeehun Hwang since last August. I think instead we are getting Limozeen from what I heard of the teaser trailer. A good riff that it is, it ain't MW2 caliber. But, it was good enough for Trogdor.

MWO: Reactor ONLINE. Sensors ONLINE. Weapons ONLINE. All Systems online...

Its that LAST one that makes it NOT MW2's start up.

as a side question, who here, MW2 vets that is, listened to my linked song and couldnt stop themselves from hearing that start upsequence suddenly burst into their minds?

To clarify, the devs are fixing the start up sequence to change the last word back to nominal as it should be, there were just troubles doing it in time for the trailer. Though even so, you are correct in saying we are not entitled to having the MW2 music just because of that, as much as I wish it were true...
And yes, the start up sequence flashback was immediate from your video, thanks for that
