Yeah, mine has almost full armor except for the legs. My plan is to swap back to the XL engine when I don't need to farm c-bills, and mount an AC20 in place of the AC10. I run gauss on my 3D with two LLs and two MPLs
you can't run an AC/20 and an XL engine at the same time.crit slots limitations.
I still have fun with the muromets. It's a decent mech, with a nice cbill boost.I've been through about a million different load outs with it.gauss,U/AC5's,ac2's,AC10's,LB10X's.If arm mounted ballistics didn't act so wonky sometimes, and the firing delay wasn't so terrible sometimes...it'd be a lot more fun.I really just use it to grind cbills for now.
dual/trip U/AC5 is hilarious fun when it works and the jam randomness is on your side, but i'm too impatient to not just spam the thing into jam jail.
dual gauss is,as it always been,brutal...but you have to either go stupid slow,or mount an XL which turns the thing into a death trap because of it's gigantic barn door profile.
Oddly enough,I think I have the most fun with dual LB10X's,I know they aren't the best weapons in town, and I feel like i'd be more effective using....well...almost anything else really. But man is it awesome seeing all those little pellets explode out at the enemy! I do alright with it honestly, not great, but alright....usually 300-700 damage a game,2-4 kill shots.sometimes better, sometimes worse, just depends on how impatient I get.
I find I have to be a lot more aware of my movement and position in the field with this mech as opposed to some of my other mechs. If i get caught out in the open I don't really have the speed to escape every time. Also due to the mech's huge profile, and moderate armor load, it feels frail in comparison to many of my other mechs, even the ones that are considerably lighter.
