Part of the reason I wanted to run this poll was to see if ANY Founders bought the YLW with their bonus MC.

I am NOT a Founder (not by choice, by circumstance at the time), but have since purchased MC and bought some things.
I bought a YLW (cause I like the Centurions and the bonus C-Bills doesnt hurt) and some mech bays. I painted a mech, cost like 150 MC (what is that, less than a dollar?)

I intend to buy more MC (as needed) for C-Bills and possibly premium time (this is actually a very good purchase if you have time to play the game and use the 'time')

Also musing over that dropship thingie. Looks pretty cool too. Already have the monkey and Dawn so the Hula girl is, eh, not so inviting to me personally.

Mostly I was curious about the YLW. I see many on the battlefield despite the negative comments so I wondered if Founders spent their MC on it just because there was not much else to spend MC on other than mechs and mech bays and conversions of XP.

might buy the p2w phract, depends how many spacebux it is, didn't buy a Yellow Wang cause I tried one in CB and it was terrihorrible.

Bought a Dragon, and 2 Ravens (2X and 3L). Currently saving my MC for A) The Stalker and More paint jobs once they're released. Currently holding on to my Premium time as it's the end of the school term so there is lots to do IRL (will be activating it shortly). When I do run out I may buy some more for aesthetic stuff as by that point I figure I'll be able to grind my way to new 'Mechs until the Clans show up (then I'll probably get some more MC for a shiny new Clan 'Mech).

Have spent nothing so far. Given the serious re-balancing that is needed for the heat system for energy weapons, felt it wouldn't be worth-while to spend any CB or MC on items/mechs/bays. I certainly won't be recommending it to my friends based on the current state of the game. Been earning CB with trials but now that my Founder's time is up, I'm going dark until the Clans show up or Community Warfare is implemented.

Have I spent MC...yes....have I spent a lot of MC....Not even close. Of my initial Founder's MC (20k) I have 14,680 left. I bought a few mechbays (total 6 mech slots, probably will go up to 9 once I master the 6 I got). A couple HBK's since they were cheap to grease the wheels rolling towards unlocking Elite.

I just used the C-Bills I earned along the way to upgrade those 3 HBK's instead of purchasing a new HBK. I have recently added a couple C-Bill purchased Catapults to my mech-stable, and sicne my HBK's are fully decked out from C-Bills, I've been upgrading those for when I'm finished with my HBK trees, and want to switch over to mastering Catapults.

I'm waiting for another mech to come along that tickles my fancy enough to want me to purchase those additional mechbay slots, and I'll start saving up C-Bills once my Catapults are all decked out and I'm grinding experience on mastering them, I'm confident that I'll have at least enough C-bills saved up to purchase another chassis, and start upgrading it before I finish unlocking Master on 3 Catapult variants.

Wash-rinse-repeat.

Rest of my MC is going to probably go to XP conversion (once you master a mech, it doesn't all auto-roll-over, and as such you basically have wasted XP from every match). More Mechbays, maybe some paint jobs if my merc corp wants to all paint our mechs the same. But right now, there simply isn't really anything that I want/need to spend my MC on. Maybe some Premium Time extensions for when I run out of Founders...I dunno.

I used some of it on mech bays and to get three new catapults. I have about 8,000mc left. I was able to use a friend's machine to mess around in the mech lab.

Only spent 300 so far on a single mech bay. Have yet to start my premium time. Waiting on the return of eight man teams.

I've spent just over 5000, on skins, cockpit items and Mech bays. I also brought a 1 day premium account for 250mc as a little boost, as I don't want to activate my main premium until the main release.

Wait did they reveal the slot distribution for the new hero mech?

As in, 2x ballistic slots in each arm?

Looking at the images, the ballistic hard points are one in each arm and one in the right torso.

I'm also biding my time to buy a massive chunk of premium time which is what most of my MC will go on and then play the game to earn cbills and XP (not calling it grind because I just play the game for fun and then spend what I earn in game on new toys as a by-product of playing the game for fun)

Wasn't going to spend, but after some time bought myself a Centurion. Again) I hope that was the last time mechs got wiped. Haven't been playing MWO for a couple of months, as I got tired of constant wipes)

Now I am careful spender) And even though I would definitely like to place a Hula girl or other stuff to a cockpit, I'd rather save until more of such stuff arrive to have a better choice)

Slightly off-topic. I wonder, why does hero mech cost nearly the same as the pretty standard models? Shouldn't it be rare or something? I know, Yen is no better than other Cents, but it is considered custom and a 'hero' mech. This should make its price stand out.

Mechs mostly since I wanted to keep my CBills for upgrades. I have purchased extra mech bays and used some to convert GXP. Most likely will be dumping some into Ilya next week.

Spent some. 8 Extra mech lab slots and camo on 2 mechs I know I am never going to get rid of.

Will spend most of the remaining amount on premium time.

Bought a Wang. I grinded 2 Atlas mechs but didn't have the time afterwards so I bought a K2 and a Phract 4X to play with. Converted some XP to get the K2 up faster as well.

Hopefully what I have left can buy me the new hero mech. If not, I'll probably buy more MC after the year is over.

5 Mech Bays, 3 first Non-Founder Mechs, painjobs for 2 mechs. Got some prepared for Ilya Muromets. Hell, I'm a Russian, how can I possibly miss that one? Then planning some more visual styling for the rest of my mechs when there's more options (patterns, decals).

I would agree mech bays, mechs sort of surprises me because of the c-bill factor (meaning they all except YLW and soon to come next Hero, can be bought with C-Bills).

Yup. I bought two mech Bays, two Cats, and two Atlases with MC. I'm down to 5,145, and the price to re-up is not worth it to me as the game currently stands. Hopefully, one day there will be something that compels me to buy more, but for now, that 5K will languish.
