My HUD stopped identifying teammates and enemies. I accidentally shot a teammate - several times in a row till 4 teammates unleashed death on me (I suspect I shot a teamspeak player). He chatted WHY? after we both died and I couldn't reply because chat flaked out too.
I'm sorry for shooting you anonymous teammate. When bugs climb all over my cockpit I should just wait it out in the base and only return fire. My bad.

I've had glitches like that before, friends showed as enemies and enemies as friends. After about 45 secondes it "reverted" to the correct friends as friends and enemies as enemies... That confused me a lot.
these things happen, unless your a known Tker and are verbally abusive/gloating about it i wouldn't worry about it.
They probably already forgot.

Who are you again?
Bugs happen. Don't beat yourself up over it.

It stung at the time because I rage-quit and then went to bed so I could dwell on it. Bugs seem to be on the rise in the last two patches... it is starting to get in the way of my fun.

Take a break. Bugs can be frustrating and really make a game less enjoyable. Give the game a few more patch cycles, then come back.
Alternatively, find a group to play with and complain about the bugs with them. That's what keeps me in the game. The bugs are much less frustrating when you're laughing about them with teammates.

Don't be too hard on yourself! Last night I got my first Team Kill because I got the hiccups at a most inopportune time, which caused me to unleash AC 20 death into the back of a team mate.

I admire a person who has the guts to fess up on FFa public forum. In an age of faceless immature netspam, griefing and trolling. I salute your honesty in explaining the situation. That takes ferro-fibrous balls.

Agree with rolly here. And on the off chance it was you ElLocoMarko that sprayed my Raven with AC fire last night at game start. Consider yourself absolved
