I activated it after less than five matches without premium.

I cannot fk ing overstate - this game is hell for people who don't pay and I feel for you. I cannot, absolutely CANNOT, fathom playing this game for free. You are better people than I.

I was considering hitting the button when my Raven actually works - when my ECM is switched on.

But considering how many problems this game has... i think it would be a waste of time in its current state.

I'm saving mine like money in the bank, and instead used 2500 of my Founder's MC to buy another month while I think about it. It's worth the investment of having premium time for building and outfitting bots though. Makes more sense to buy a month of time-and a-half than buying a new mech with the same amount of MC... Power grinding?

I am using premium account because it is cheaper to use the C-bill made using premium to buy mechs than to buy mechs directly with credits. Do the math yourself.

Nah not yet, I see zero point to using it as is, I have a ton of mechs, I have enough cash etc etc. I've got 3 months to play with, might start it when they put in a lot more into the game

This. It pretty much screams to me I'm "subscribing" for the life of the game to get anywhere

I started it up, mostly because it's there to be used.

There are so many people who love the Battletech franchise and wish for a quality product who have a hard time letting this one attempt in how many years go to the pot...

And I think the goon is a great demonstration of what Ticked is talking about, but let's face it, toxic community members are nothing new on 'teh interwebs'.

That really depends on you, once you have your mech(s) of choice fully tricked out there is nothing to further buy meaning a 100% profit from there on after.This assumes you don't have much of a stable though...

That's what I did with the Minecraft forums. Eventually the place was just too much, so I gave up the forums. Not the game though; they're separate things. It's like listening to a band, even though you'd never hang out with them IRL because they're big jerks. No need to chuck out the entire experience except for extra llamapoints.

Haven't activated yet, taking a nice leisurely break for multiple reasons. (Coupla other games, let this one "cook" a while and come back with lotsa of new goodies to play with, etc.)
