Coinky dink or the devs playing with my mind.

I've played about 30 games where I was the best player (amongst a really bad team). That is about 30 games lost and I am at 9.4Mil XP and need only a couple hundred thou more for my 3rd atlas.

I am convinced this is some conspiracy. DEV says to another Dev: "Hey, lets make it tough for someone to get an 3rd Mech by putting them in with noobs just before they can get a mech set"... other DEV is laughing. ;-)

Could happen right!? Oh, I need to smoke more I think.

Make that 35 games, no wins... I had 475 damage last game, the rest of the team below 200. :-(

9.4 mill XP?! hope it is just typo.
idk i had about 30 or so game yesterday and more than 70% of them we won, meaning both my premade and pugs won (with my Raven 4x beating whole puggy on damage charts)

If you are playing during "prime time", ala 5:00 p.m. PST and on, that might be your problem. Once the kiddies get home from school and eat dinner, the skill level in pugs PLUMMETS. Try playing hours where there are few kids on and see if that helps.

I just played with you and you were far from the best player. Your atlas-K build had these:

2 LL
1 Gauss
1 AMS

And your top speed was 48. Maybe running your atlas with 70 tons is why you keep losing 30 games.

It's possible he hasn't earned the funds to get endo, double heat sinks and the weapons he needs. Nothing against your observation though. If he's grinding for cash, he might have earned just enough to buy the mech and not upgrade it yet.

wow, your atlas has one more laser than my centurion... otherwise we have the same equipment and I have a hard time getting over 500 damage in a game
your damage output must be very low indeed!

It's all relative isn't it.. I have good armor, heat sink (can go a long way firing lasers).. and I never run out of gaus ammo... to each his own.

You can play however you like, but you got some balls to complaining about losing games when you are the one screwing your team. You know mechs aren't randomly put in to games. There is weight limits, and you fill out a 100 ton slot but you bring in the fire power of 50-60 ton mech. If the enemy 100 tonner is not being an ***** like you, guess what, you just lost another game.

Well, being that I'm in the top two damage dealers on my team every game.. not worried. :-)

The OP has a point - if he manages to be in the top two for damage on his team with 2 LL and 1 Gauss, his team does something wrong.

Congrats on getting into the ******* top2 with massive damage dealers out there like these guys. A real testament to your superior mech build and skill to get in to top2 every game. By all means don't change a THING, you are the man!

sometimes, even the best skilled and build mech, cant do a **** alone standing in a team, where everyone plays his own rambo...... against average group, when there is 1 commander, and all other guys said, hey, ok stick to him, do what he said, and vuala it works like charm.

So i would say, to have BEST build on a mech doesnt mean anything here. Teamplay is the key. (ofc in PUG we are speaking about)
