Anyone else getting massive audio stuttering and popping?. It gets so bad I can only hear the first and last word of a voice warning in combat.

It's pretty bad,and makes me have a sad face

:)

Well, just played a couple more games.. in combat the audio just gives out or pops.

At least now I know what it's like for a deaf person whos hearing aid battery is dying.

It was a problem before that I didn't bother reporting because it wasn't THAT bad. But now, with BB in, it's a lot more annoying and it also got worse. Whenever a lot of action is going on, I lose a lot of sound effects, going from BB messages to gun sounds, etc.

I'm trying to tweak my audio settings to see if something is at fault. I'm currently using headphones, Logitech G330 Headset.

yep , noticing this too. its terrible. game is stuttering, sound is stuttering. its a perfect match , i guess...

with every patch the game is making leaps backwards , it seems.

huge construction sites , that would need handleing, but adding fluff was more important. its christmas time and you want your share.
i got it.

I also experience sound distortions and also use headphones. But it's nice to have BB in. Speak about: BB sometimes seems to be asleep when targeting a new Mech or a known Mech.

it's probably to prevent redundancy as you'd probably be tired of hearing her "new target acquired" when you switch 5 times in 10 seconds.

At least you can still hear her... when there's a lot of action and missiles are incoming I just hear "war... mis.... ing" or "w.... ba....ing.... tured"

similar problems to a point I can't hear anything.

It was a problem before, I used to hear small stuttering especially when walking and nothing else was going on.

Now, it's pretty intense.

I am confirming that the audio is stuttering when a lot of action is on screen, it sounds like my machine is about to die, but the FPS is at 60 constant!

Yes, audio is being cut on randong effects in mid-battle, like laser sound being cut off, AC, LRM, explosions, even BB is, i am guessing they made a filter for BB to stop being annoing and they fudged up the whole audio, like typical PGI

Sounds as if they might be using the same channel rather than pushing the audio to different unused channels. Many audio cards can play multiple sounds through multiple individual channels, but each channel can usually only play 1 sound at a time. If you tell it to play another, it stops the current abruptly. Sounds like what might be happening.

As per my post made last night PIR, this confirms that your main client side stress is being caused by your .pak of sound and sound to Crytek modules....

will update my 1.015 post later today.

May want to give players the option to shut down sound while you fix your package and library files.
