So, i don't know how many others run into this, but i have a few favorite chassis, and i love playing around with different configs. But in playing around, i find that sometimes i would like to go back to a previous config (after finding out a different config doesn't work, etc).
So, the idea is this. Build a loadout (say for my founders C1), and save it. Later, if i change the stuff around but want to go back, rather than spending several minutes trying to remember where everything was, i just push a button, and everything gets reloaded.
I guess i can see this idea getting shot down, but thought i would throw it out there..

Suggestion - Save Configs/loadouts For Mechs

No ones replied to you.
Its because they agree that it would be nice.
However, people are very concerned with other issues that they'd prefer that they were focused on.
Faction meta game/new game modes/guild interface are on the top of my list atm.
Oh and also nerf streak cats.

+1 Generating a small XML file would not be much effort but it would be a huge improvement to the game IMO. Mechs could be saved and also exchanged with friends.

Yes! I would REALLY like this! But I'm not sure they will put this in the game, because the alternative to manually switching your loadout is buying a second 'mech and PGI would really prefer that (money money money).

I guess its me, but i would never buy two of the same mech just for the different loadouts (i guess if i am swmming in C-bills, but..). As it is, i already switch, and I imagine others do the same.
Eh.. was an idea.
