I'd like to start this off with saying, I absolutely love all the reimagined mech designs we've seen thus far. It's impossible for me to say how awesome PGI mech designers are.

That being said, I had an idea. And a few subsequent ones as well to help me sell this to the devs.

I would love to see some of the older designs of current mechs, but from previous games. My personal favorite, the Raven, especially. I'm mostly referring to the Raven we all saw and fell in love with from MechCommander, with those beautiful and sexy curves.

I was also thinking you could incorporate these older styles in either the release of Hero mechs OR as a another option in the mechlab, like the camo section, choose to display your mech from different artists and classic concepts. This would also provide community artists to maybe get a chance at seeing their take on a design making it into the game via some sort of contest... Just another idea.

Yeah, it would take you more time and resources to implement the additional designs for each chassis, but then, you could charge us for it with MC, thus getting paid for your additional, and HIGHLY appreciated work.
