Tribes Ascend, for all the things I ended up disliking it for, had a couple of nice ideas. One of them was Deal of the Day.

This was basically a daily deal you get a different one every 24 hours on every item in the game. You could get up to 75% off the gold (real world money cost) of any item in the game, including cosmetic stuff.

The actual items on offer supposedly took into account what you tended to like playing/doing ingame so you'd supposedly get offers more likely to appeal to you (supposedly, not sure if that bit actually worked properly)

I think something like that could be well received in MWO as well. So you'd get a daily deal that lasts for 24 hours and get stuff like mechs, paint colours and whatever else you can buy for MC for up to n% off.
