I have been testing this game since closed beta like many of you have and I appreciate what the DEV's have brought to us. It's beautiful and will no doubt be a classic. While I am pleased with most of how the game has turned out so far, it has become extremely stale for me right now. I ask myself what I can offer to the DEV's by continuing to play at this point, and I'm at a loss for any feedback that I can offer them. I do keep in mind that it is still in beta.

I don't have the opportunity to group with other players, thus I'm relegated to playing solo and landing in the so called PUG. This ends in the typical massacre fairly quickly, or the base race game. It's frustrating and frankly just not very fun anymore. I mean, what's the point of a solo guy playing right now. The matches at this point are so unfair except for the occasional PUG vs. PUG. We who solo do try to communicate in game and I have no doubt everyone in the PUG try their hardest, so this isn't about skill level or any of that. But what's the single player without a group supposed to do. And how fun can it be being in a group going around winning matches like that 8-0, 7-1, or whatever it turns out to be.

I know that there are options in the works and PGI is busting their butts to get them implemented. I just feel right now that there are a bunch of guys in the same boat I am that feel they have reached that point in the game where they really have no place other than being easy targets (No fun). That will change as the game develops, but I'm afraid that's where I am.

I would agree, I'm still having some fun but we do need options. Feedback and dead horse beating unfortunately wont make them happen faster...otherwise I would have gone nuts by now.

Really think they need to make pugging more intuitive, and grouping. I would guess they're going to do that but until then I guess I'm glad I kept in touch with NBT clanmates.

Integrated voice would go a long way to making PUGing more bearable. But server browsers are the real solution to this... as it fixes the AFK problem, the PUG vs Premade problem, and the suicider problem all in one feel swoop.

There is no point.

What's the point of playing w/ a group, for that matter?

All is vanity. You might as well all be bots. Because there is no point.

Except for PGI to line their pockets at your expense.

Well see, the point for me is to have fun. Period. It's really that simple for me. Just plain and simple fun. I don't care much about stats, or even wins/losses, as long as it's fun. It's still just a game after all and I'm too old to care about anything but entertainment value when I play a game. And like I said above, it's not fun anymore right now.

You're preaching to the choir, Sir. I understand completely. My idea of having fun in the game is to enjoy the experience, win or lose.

A lot of people seem to have an issue with that. And I really don't care what they think.

The matchmaking system is temporary, leave for a few months and come back, Im sure pgi wont miss you they have plenty of beta testers right now enjoying the game and when you come back hopefully your problems will be solved.

Yea, well maybe that's where we are right now, or at least where I am. As far as PGI missing me, I'm sure if it was just me you'd be right, but what if people leave in droves? Then what? I hope that doesnt happen. The whole purpose for beta is to test the game and provide feedback.

I don't understand why you refuse to join a group. We have a big, free teamspeak server linked to the website with free-range public rooms for you to pick up people to group and play with. Every clan on said server happily allows guests to run some try-outs with them when slots are available in their groups.

Just go to any room with people in it. Give a hello in text chat or verbally, ask to group. Done.

You don't even have to wear a mic. Just be able to listen. (Though you may need to take a support role if you can't issue verbal commands).

Well.. just give it a break and wait a while. Im with you, I really only play to grind out cbills at a snails pace so I have huge cash reserves down the road (I hope), but at this point we dont even know what "down the road" is, for here it looks pretty inflated. Hopefully it lives up to my pretty low expectations.

I've already been in a group, that even requires Team-speak.

I don't have any desire or inclination to use Team-speak.

I speak all day long. The last thing I want to do is have to speak to a game.

I do the solo thing, it's a bit more fun when the team I'm in wins, but it's also an awesome feeling when you're down to just two mechs. (When all players are actually, playing)

My win/loss and KDR are terrible being a solo guy, but that's not what I play the game for, I play it because I enjoy it.

I get really frustrated at most of the team mates I'm matched with (over 100 more losses to wins), but... eh.

My hope is that they will actually learn from their experience, and strive to play the best they can, and cooperate with their team by using the given communication or have a good understanding how to use terrain to their advantage.

It's not that I refuse to join groups it's that my play time is sporadic a lot of the time. With work, kids, other typical household tasks, I many times find myself logging in for 20 mins or so at a time to catch a couple matches. Most of the time I don't have the time allotment that I think most groups would wish for me to commit to.

At any rate, that 20, 30, or 60 minutes or whatever it is, is valued time to me and like I said, I want to enjoy it and have fun. It'll get better. We will find clan or whatever to hook up with in time and maybe then it'll all be a mute point. But now, for me, it's stale and frustrating. Just my opinion....

Guys, I have fought saying this, but the bottom line is this game is horribly broken for a majority of us.  It's broken to the point where the only 2 options are stay and become that frustrated player with no positive influence on the game, or leave and spend your valuable play time playing something else.  My fear would be those who leave are gone....for good, totally put off by their experience.

Look, I love the MW series, it is my all time fave, bar none, and I love PGI for bringing it back to us.  We all see all the posts made out of sheer frustration  and we all see the responses saying silly stuff like "leave, they won't miss you", but neither of those are constructive to the game.  It's broken and needs fixed badly!  Some say, "join a group".  Well, that's not always an option for everyone.  To those I say, why don't you PUG.  Why group, why not go solo and even the field a little.  Why not disable the group option for now?  It apparently works just fine!   It's really the same topic, just viewed from the other end of the spectrum of players (the solo's).   So, that is a double edged sword of sorts.  I just want my broken game fixed.  That's all.
