I'm not sure if its been mentioned before but I was thinking about the idea of an auction house for mechs people made who want to sell them for mc.

So if someone made a Gaussapult for example and wanted to auction it off then they could go to the auction house and put up on a list for people to make bids. Now, instead of using standard C-bills to bid with, you would need MC. The reason for this is to generate income for the game. So what happens at the end of the bid is the pilot selling his mech would get a percentage of the MC OR the MC equivilant converted to C-bills. This is just an idea for people to buy customized mechs beyond the ones for sale, but they would need to spend money to bid.

This is still just a rough concept, feel free to put in your ideas.

No. Their financial model depends on them selling you stuff. It would be financial suicide to implement any form of trading / selling beyond what's already there.

Not entirely true. If there were things that you could only by with MC (like hero mechs, XP to GXP transfers, access to paint...) then they could sell those things to you. Also, if they allowed auctioning of MC then people would purchase more MC than they needed to get fast c-bills. See EVE Online on how to make made cash with a model like this.
