Seems like an overreaction to one troll game.

If you give in, the trolls win.

Their time for judgement will come, but PGI has bigger fish to fry right now, like making the game.

We took some screenshots and told support@mwomercs.com about it.

This is exactly the perfect response to this particular situation. The Support Staff has the tools needed to act on reports of illicit in-game behavior, and sending reports to support@mwomercs.com is the best thing we can do to stop this kind of behavior. Only the Support Staff has access to account information and administrative tools; posting someone's name on the forum will not prevent their Mech from finding a match in the Matchmaking queue, and we're not allowed to do it, anyways.

Why?

Because if you really didn't like Player X and were allowed to say "PLAYER X JUST TEAMKILLED MY WHOLE TEAM!!!" and got 8 of your friends to post about it, then nobody would want to play with Player X anymore, whether or not you've ever dropped with Player X any time ever before.

And if Player X came to the Moderation Team and said "Hey, this is a lie!" then the reply he'd receive would be "Too bad, Son, they're allowed to post whatever they want."

That's why MechWarrior: Online has a Code of Conduct, and anyone may view it to review the rules of the forum at any time, and you can always ask a member of the Moderation Team if you have questions or need assistance.

Since the issue of the OP has been addressed (we all know who to contact in the case of illicit behavior, and what we can do to stop it), I will close the topic.

Just an FYI...

These players have been dealt with. Future warning.. there is 0 tolerance when it comes to impersonating staff and it doesn't matter what color your avatar is.
