I love it. Your handling of the geometry of the model is superb - retail quality even

Nice work Scott. Yours does look quite different. I tend to stay more to the TRO side...your work feels more like the MWO style...very FlyingDebris (ish).

For any intersted, here is mine at about 90% done...

Wow, it looks great! Have you considered using polycap joints for future models? I'm sure you already know what they are, but just in case, they are a kind of soft plastic that allows for models to have poseability without having joints wear out so soon. I think Kotobukiya offers them in entire trees on their own, but spare polycaps are readily available in many giant robot kits. Also, those cockpit windows look like they could use aurora stickers rather than the regular jet black or 'glass/jewel' gradient-style painting technique. Just puttin in my 2 cents. Good job!

Well...yeah. When you stick with the paper models, then they are definitely MW4 style...but when you branch out and start adding your own flair to things, it does lean a bit more to this MWO style. Heck, when I saw the Raven on here I thought it looked like how you would re-imagine it. Your Thanatos looks like it belongs in this game...especially the foot redesign and that LRM pod.

And you had better mold/cast that gun barrel. That is off the chain.

As for Polycaps...if I was making models out of plastic it would work. A lot of mine are resin and the polycaps don't work well with that weight. I have used magnets on some joints...

Ive tried poly caps a couple times and they are tricky to get right. On other models like gundams they are engineered to hold the caps in place, not so with a scratchbuild. Glue doesnt hold them in place so my use of them has been very limited.

I'll cast the gun barrel as soon as I can.
