Large Laser Silent But Deadly

So for some reason when an enemy is hitting me with large lasers they make 0 noise. No laser on armour sound, actually hearing the beam is 50-50 chance too.

On my end, when I shoot them I have 0 issues.. being on the other end of it is a different story.

Anyone else have this issue?.
