SRMs have been my favorite weapon since I installed this game in august! Every single one of my builds fits some SRMs, I cant imagine leaving home without them!

Obviously the bigger the enemy target the more effective your SRMs will be, Its amazing how much damage a medium with SRMs can do to Assaults! Love it!

Who else loves the lightweight armor shredding capabilities of the SRM?

SRMs are a good supplemental weapon. But if I can get bigger better heavy weapons I will sacrifice SRMs to do it!

I've always liked them. My standard brawler atlas build packs 2 srm6's and an ac/20. 2 or 3 salvos from them at under 180 meters will just about anything.

ya bro. we did a 4man premade where we had a total of 22 srm6s. we felt so l33t focusing down those pug noobs. 330DMG per volley was awesome!

Still loving my 5xSRM6 cat build. 6x is nice for the alpha damage, but 5x lets me run far more ammo and an extra DHS too.

Im now using then on 2 of my cats, because streaks are now useless
Still have to get in close, but they sure can do some damage

do you have to sacrifice speed for 5x, im useing 4x 6srm with default engine

Amongst the few good things I can say so far about ECM, one is that I was forced to use SRMs and found out it is not as unusable as I thought given my 300ms ping.

Hammer loves SRMs, and is a recent convert. Forever I just ran 3 mlaser + Tag on my jenner but once ECM was released and the streakmando army was released I saw someone mention that 2xsrm4s pack the punch...and boy do they. Went from 300-400 a match to 600+ if all my ammo was spent. Had to sacrifice some leg/arm armor and heat management to do so which has gotten me in some bad situations but I'm enjoying being able to nearly shred anything lower than a catapults back armor in a single shot.

I'll have to drop an srm4 though for 4 JJs when that's fixed however

So true. Even when they're not even trying. I rounded a corner of a building only to see a A1 Cat sitting there. I didn't stop the acceleration. He did though. Alpha SRM volley to my CT. Was the funniest thing watching my mech just stop cold after doing 149 and faceplant.

2xSRM4 on a Jenner is cool. Learning how to hit with them versus other lights with the throttle maxed takes practice though.

2-3x SRM6 on a brawler is good too. Hunchback 4SP, or any Atlas.
