Voidsinger gets the point.
If PGI is unable to prevent people from spoofing the names and identities of their own staff in their own game, how am i supposed to trust that PGI will protect my information and prevent someone from spoofing staff identities outside of the game (extreme example)?
What is my level of confidence that they have taken appropriate measures and have planned out in-advance how to prevent identity theft and/or account compromise?
Preventing people from spoofing your own staff with what appears to be an exact name match in-game should be relatively straightforward and thought-of-ahead-of-time, similar to preventing people from using offensive names and helps build confidence that the product is safe, secure, and designed to protect against fraud.
It might be making a mountain out of a molehill, but it's a valid complaint and disruptive to the in-game experience as it stands today.
Possible solutions would be that all PGI staff would have special marks or colors in their names similar to the GM staff in other products, then it would be easy to identify imposters and ignore them (and ideally blacklist/report them with some future in-game feature tbd..)
