1. It sure would be nice if I could type and send in-game chat messages while shut down.

2. The sound weapons make when they impact non-mech surfaces is the same as the sound they make when they impact a mech. It sure would be nice if I could tell by sound if I'm being hit, or if it's the building I'm taking cover behind that is being hit.
