I agree. Looks like testers don't test anything or don't have proper PC-s. If they tested new pach on min. requirement computers, then we would have no performance issue.
Please, get real, guys, start testing things BEFORE you publish it. Hate when you screw up so EPIC game.

You do realize that when you're referring to "the testers", you're mostly talking about us, right?
I'm sure PGI has their internal team, but they can only do so much. We, on the other hand, are an expression of the "many eyeballs" philosophy of software development (a philosophy I fully encourage and support). Enough of us are running min-spec or near enough and reporting back on it that I assure you, PGI is aware of the issue.
Mostly, as I understand it, the problem they're dealing with is that DX11 is a PITA to get working right in CE3, and even besides that they're trying to tell CE to do things that it really wasn't designed for and doesn't like doing.
I consider the fact that they got this far, in this game engine, a small miracle.

We are last line of testing. More likely the only line. Looks like they give us raw material to test. So many and so big mistakes would be found in internal testing, or there was some bad desisions in a row that made this game so "screwed up".
There will be no "many eyeballs" soon. Even highend PC are strugeling to run this game.
P.S. So, go ask for help, even from players. There is no shame in asking. Make this game work !

"We are all in this together" - methality will save this game most likely. I have noticed, that some players are more adequete than others. If there would be more info on problems, then there will be more help to you Dev. guys.(for free)
P.S. Niko, we all feel sad, when we see no improvement in performnce, even if you are working all the time on it.

Normally, I'd simply ignore a topic like this and move on. For some reason, I'm in a particularly ornery mood so I'll respond.
It's been stated before that PGI does indeed have PCs of all types to test on from what seems to be minimum spec to totally over the top spec. This was, in fact, covered in Ask the Devs 26.
One thing about the PC market that people just have to keep in mind is that PC stands for "personal computer". I emphasize the personal aspect. Even if one person's hardware is functionally identical to another person's, the different PCs will react and behave differently. In some cases, it's simply a matter of what software they have installed. With this open beta, they can potentially collect information on literally hundreds and thousands of different specs rather than the handful they may have in house.
Sometimes, the difference between a in performance between two people is that one is running driver version x.xxx.xx.001 versus x.xxx.xx.002 for the other person.
TL;DR? PGI says they have min spec PCs in house for testing.
