Negative what I would like is a two joystick setup on for movement(left hand) and one for Torso control(right hand). Steel battalion had a great controller and setup it just suffered from having you doing 50 things at any given time. I mean you had you gas pedal, boost pedal, gear shift, Steering joystick, Joystick for looking, and a POV Hat for the actual aiming.you had to keep track of all of this in the middle of a hairy combat situation or else you were dead

And I don't know why you can't. I used a left handed joystick and a mouse for MW4.

Use whatever you want, whatever feels comfortable.
So what is the question anyway? Will you be able to set it up like that?
Why wouldnt you be able to?

as long as everything is freely remapable sure... i don´t see a reason why not... BUT i never could see a reason aswell, why only a few controllers were supported at NFS: World... but since controls are vital to a game like MWO (and for it´s fanbase^^) i´m pretty sure, they will do their best to make it all possible...

I hope the game will allow multiple devices, and can handle a large number of joystick buttons, if one of the Devs is running a G940 kit, they know what I mean. My setup is capable of 304 programmable functions (plus 1 if I slave the pedals toe-brakes to, say, jumpjets)
I am beyond excited..... Is my geek showing?
Edit: typos due to posting from my mobile

It's my configuration, and it works like a charm. Very fluid even if the rudder is still not analog.

(no audio 'cause I have recorded other ppl on TS, therefore I have cut it out to avoid any privacy issue).
On the dual stick: just buy joysticks with good drivers. I have a CH Pro Pedals, CH Pro Throttle, CH Fighterstick, CH MFP and I can choose to let my games see them as different peripherals or only one ("merged") with only axis and buttons that I want.

I can't imagine how you could set up two analog devices with current key mapping settings. Keep us informed.

; Joystick Setup ; Gain affects speed of joystick (works with sensitivity) ; Seems like higher number = faster response cl_joystick_gain = 1.45 ; Sensitivity (Default seems to be 1.0) ; Higher number = less sensitive (slower) cl_joystick_sensitivity = 1.01 cl_joystick_invert_throttle = 0 cl_joystick_invert_pitch = 1 cl_joystick_invert_yaw = 0 cl_joystick_invert_turn = 0 cl_joystick_throttle_range = 0 ;i_joystick_buffered disables the Joystick buffering which greatly increases the joystick's sensitivity ;i_joystick_buffered = 0 ; Joystick DeadZone, requires both the i and cl lines to make the joystick deadzone change work ;i_joystick_deadzone = 0.12 ;cl_joystick_deadzone = 0.12 ; ZOOM settings (sensitivity of joystick when zoomed) gp_mech_view_look_sensitivity = 0.0090 // Normal view gp_mech_view_zoom_level1_sensitivity_modifier = 0.6 // Zoom 1.5x gp_mech_view_zoom_level2_sensitivity_modifier = 0.4 // Zoom 3x gp_mech_view_zoom_level3_sensitivity_modifier = 0.35 // Zoom 4x

I'am currently working with a Cyborg V1 (formed for both R & L hand) in my left hand for movement and a Cyborg X in my right for torso. I can change any access or button in the game options menu with no problems. You can make fine adjustments by adding certain lines into your User.cfg file if it is needed.
This is not the setup I've used in the past (I wore out my X52 playing previous versions of MW) but I had these 2 lying around and thought I give it a try. Its taking me some time to adjust to.
I've been trying a trackball mouse in my right but it feels kinda clumsy to push the buttons with your thumb and pinky as well as less buttons at your finger tips than a joy. The mouse is definatley better at tracking and aim so I haven't give up on this.
