I switched away from medium and my crash frequency plummeted. Either high (if your hardware will let you) or low settings crash much less frequently than medium.

So if you ctd a lot, check your graphics settings.

Hmmm... reallly?
I am running medium now, and I do have have the occasional crash...
How long has it been since you changed your setting (and what did you change it too) since you have had a crash or other issue?

I may have to think about changing that?

I've been wondering if this is just me for a long while, but I have basically no difference frame rate at all between different settings. I'm fairly smooth on very high, so it's not a huge deal. You would think I would still get some gain from lowering them though.

I switched to high for a while, but now I run a high-low mix (object detail and texturing are high).

Interesting.

How much of a detail difference is it on low?

I barely noticed.

What I did notice is that I ctd a lot less.
