This old girl has been collating whether to hit that FPT ACTIVATE button or not.
I have not read enough positive feedback from the last patch to just jump in again,
but then again I have not read enough negative feedback either. Whats a girl to do :)

Anyone else hesitating?
If so why?

Press it. You'll feel better after you do. I know I did.

Considering I'm getting CTDs on launch about 50% of the time with this present patch, I'm not pressing that button.

I'm actively playing right now, so I hit the button right now. I might be less interested in the future, so if I waited until then I might not use it at all.

Why wait for feedback? You can play w/out premium time to gauge it for yourself, then activate or don't. They game is wildly fun either way!

I am waiting until after New Years, mainly because I expect my play time to decrease a lot with the holidays approaching. Also with more new toys, maps, game modes, etc expected at some point in the future, I expect a spike in my play time once I get back from entertaining family across multiple time zones.

Well, what else are you going to use your MCs for? Its FAR cheaper (in terms of MC) to buy mechs by grinding for C-Bills on premium time than to buy them direct with MCs.

Do you need extra CBills or XP right now? GXP is always good, but wasting Premium on Chassis XP that you do not need might not be the smartest idea.

The point about MC for Premium > MC for mechs is excellent. Personally though, I expect to only spend MC on permanent things (bays, hero mechs).

I'll likely end up using some over Xmas since I have a couple of weeks off of work and I'm hoping the Conquest game mode breathes some life into the game for me. Time ticks down regardless of whether you play, so I wouldn't push it until you know you're going to be giving her what for. Although, your legendary premium time is longer than my 30 day veteran time.

Your a girl?

Ok, jokes aside, I didn't press the button for one reason and one reason only and that is because RL has been getting in the way of my MWO play time, other wise I'd probably smash my mouse when pressing that button.

When the button first came out I was going to wait till after the new year. But after 3-4 days of playing without the bonus I figured what the hell. I am playing alot right now so why not.... if later I need to add some time I can with my MC.

You figure that 3000 mc is $14.99 right now. And 30 days of bonus is 2500, so thats pretty much what it would cost to play a sub game for a month.

Also, at the rate of 2500 C-Bills per MC and an average of about 50,000 C-Bills extra gained per game using premium, the breakeven point is about 12 battles. With each battle taking up an average of 10mins, that's about 2 hours straight. So if you intend to play anything more than 2 hours straight, you should really go on the button. (On top of that, you are getting extra XP that unlocks perks super fast!)

Same here, also there's usually some must play release around Christmas that I will be sidetracked by. If patches have improved the game by mid to late Jan I expect to get back into it enough to activate.

Just do it. It's not like it's going to earn you more if you activate it later. Your schedule will get busier and calmer over the weeks, so there's no point saying "I'll activate it when I have some quiet time".
